   It is an awesome camera for a great price plenty of memory, great resolution, and very discreet. It was exactly what I was looking for, camera and video recorder… great product!!

   I bought this camcorder to film short sports clips indoors at 60hz to be able to play them back at 30hz to better see what is happening. The biggest disappointment is that there doesn’t seem to be any way to play back 30hz on the camcorder – only after transferring and playing back the H.264 file in Quicktime am I able to adjust the playback frame rate.
   
   Low-light performance is marginal – pixel noise detracts from the putative HD resolution. Night shot mode is useless for moving subjects.
   
   The unit’s interface is somewhat awkward and the unit feels a bit plastic-y and cheap – which it is.
   
   Bottom line is that this budget priced camcorder does what I want it do do, but not as well as I had hoped.

   While I’ve had the camera for a few weeks now I haven’t used too much but I’m pleased with my tests so far. It’s very lightweight and easy to shoot with. The on-board mic isn’t the best, but it’s on par with most other camcorders, the mic jack is nice and makes up for the internal one though. Oddly enough I’ve used it more for audio recording than video >.>

   Strangely enough this is also an mp3 player… I don’t know why every electronic device has to have mp3 playback, but this has it incase you have too much room on your SD card and want to listen to some tunes.

   This camera is not your best puchase at all! The only good thing is that it’s light. If there is a better offer take it even if it cost more. It is not worth chancing it. I returned this camera after one day for the following reasons.

   1. The mic SUCKS and the external mic port is no better no matter what you do to the mic. There are no internal setting for the external or internal mic in any way.

   2. It isn’t true HD at all. The screen is all fuzzy and so grainy in some places it’s just a mess of colors.

   3. If you have a mac computer lucky but it’s not compatible with any windows program. It recorders in .mov format.

   4. It has NO stabalization. Even on a tripod it shakes.

   This camera was a terrible purchase, I suggest you go by a $[...] TRUE HD camera instead. Believe me it’s worth it!

   I got this camorder and have to say this is a great buy. Light weight and easy to use (menu system is straight forward). I would recomend using the USB cable adapter NOT the power adapter for the first time charge. (Red circle indicator MUST be lit). The Lithuim battery holds a 45min charge
   
   otherwise. I would upgrade it to a higher capacity battery.

   Its great in full light or out door situations, unless you get a light.
   
   The mic is not all that fantastic either. It has a tripot mount on the bottom though, so there are brackets you can buy that have multible shoes
   
   for lights and mics.

   This has a external mic jack (worth the price alone).

   Its a little delicate so you have to be careful but a nice camcorder for the price.

   I would buy it again!!!
