Although this camera bag is intended for use with video cameras, I am using it for my digital camera. This bag is very well-padded. My camera fits securely into the main compartment, which is opened by a zipper & slides out for easy access. There are pouches on the sides that open with velcro flaps. There is also a zipper compartment on the front of the bag. On the inside of the front compartment, there is another small pocket, which opens with a velcro flap.

I can fit my AC battery charger along with an extra battery pack in the front compartment. I keep my memory card case, an extra memory card, & warranty receipt in the little pocket inside the front compartment. In one side pocket, I have my car adapter & European adapter for the charger. In the other side pocket, is my video cable. There is a nice rubber-padded handle on the top & an adjustable shoulder strap that can be removed.

The main compartment is about 6 inches tall x 4 inches wide x 3 inches deep. The entire bag is about 7 inches tall x 6 inches wide x 5 inches deep.

I purchased this particular Lowepro bag because I was unhappy with the less than protective options that Flip/Amazon recommended. I spent a lot of time paging through the Lowepro camera bags to make sure the UltraHD would fit inside it – most of the bags you’d assume would work are at least an inch or so too small. This was the smallest bag I found that would fit the video camera and provide extra space for accessories.

There are compartments in the main area of the bag (mesh pockets) that will work for the small tripod, the extra battery pack and the computer connection cords. The front of the bag also has a pocket that works well for keeping backup AA batteries.

The bag itself is very sturdy-feeling, from the fabric used to the zippers and carrying straps. I’m very pleased with the bag and even more pleased that Lowepro bags come in a wide range of prices that make this very affordable (and it’s worth the money!).

I highly recommend not just this particular bag, but Lowepro bags in general.

The bag was an excellent free gift add on with the purchase of a video camera. It is small, compact and sufficient for its intended task.

I ended up returning this item, as I found it to be too small for my camera and accessories. However, it is a well made bag, I just did not measure it well enough. The item is what it says, made for a certain video camera. I have purchased a larger one from the same company and am very happy with it.
