   I wanted to do a little experiment so I went out and purchased the RCA EZ200 and the Flip Ultra so I could compare the two side by side.
   
   Used both camera’s in the same indoor lighting, holding both at the same time while recording.
   
   WOW, what a difference, the Flip Ultra blew away the EZ200, it was not even close in terms of video and sound quality.
   
   So if your between the Flip and the RCA, go with the Flip.

   had a $25 coupon from amazon and it was on sale so thing camera cost me about $15.00. It was a gift for my 8 year old and he still has it and he is going on 10. He loves it and makes little lego shorts for himself. Fun and a great learning gift that helps kids stay creative.

   I thought I should write about my experience tonight with my RCA mini cam which I bought last spring. At the time I found it delightful and fun to use. I never imagined that with one push of a button, I could do something so awful as to make me cry. If you buy this recorder and you put anything important to you on it, transfer the video immediately to your computer or a disc or another more stable recorder. I had on my little RCA 3 short videos of a beloved dog that died suddenly in April. They were adorable memories of her. Tonight while trying to erase three still photos that were not important I pushed the delete button but instead of deleting just the photos I deleted everything on the mini cam. I lost the only video images of a dog I owned for nearly 15 years. It was like losing her all over again. I must say the instructions on the cam were very clear as to how to delete separate still shots. And I successfully deleted the first two photos. When following the prompt to delete the last photo, the prompt came back saying “all images deleted” and my heart sunk. For some reason, doing the exact same thing, pushing the exact same button this third time erased not just the image I wanted but every thing else on the cam.

   You may have a video of your loved one in better days who is now unwell or even deceased. Or your baby taking their first steps. Or some image that could shake the world. BUT DON’T USE THIS CAMERA TO TAKE YOUR SHOTS. AND IF YOU MUST, GET THEM OFF THIS CAMERA AND ONTO A MORE STABLE ELECTRONIC. I don’t know why when I went to erase the third photo my repeated gesture instead erased everything. The prompt did not warn I was about to erase everything. The prompt only instructed me to push the button to erase the still image I wanted to delete. I followed that direction and lost precious images I cannot retrieve and will never be able to replace or replicate.

   Buy a camera better made than this one. Buy a camera that does the exact same thing every time you push any one button in particular. Do not buy this camera that obviously “glitched” the third time I deleted a photo and wiped out everything instead.

   Images you care about or which are important are too precious and tenuous to entrust to such an unreliable machine as this RCA mini cam. I wish now I had never bought this but spent a bit more and purchased something better made. Delightful video of a trusted old companion are now lost forever.

   Don’t walk in my shoes. Stay away from this product.

   We got this camera for our 10 year old son so he can record his skateboarding and post it to YouTube and other web sites and it’s GREAT! It’s very easy for him to use and the size is perfect. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for ease of use. The only downside is the memory is not very big. It’s best used for short clips.

   Not HD but good for the price. My only complaint is it only records for 1 hour at a time then shuts down. So not great for home security.
