A nice camcorder (I guess) it has internal memory a place to add more and this disk business… BUT the disks are only an hour on extended play “and thats it” half hour regular play. So the using of Disks, is in my mind, a complete dieing breed; just not worth it. I thought, I would take it easy on the camera and let the disk transfer over to VCR (via my DVD/VCR machine) but all you get is an hour (extended play) on a disk.
I think these mini disks were the fist attempts to share short video clips with each other – right before YouTube came out and now with all this easy share stuff ability done on the computer, if you know what I mean jellybean?
And its got some editing features of sorts built into the camera (like I need to learn something like that when I have a computer). So in closing it’s not worth the effort in learning it’s abilities which is a little extensive (to me, less is more) when it all gets uploaded to a computer, no?

we returned this camera after finding you can only use it to record onto a disc for 30 minutes, no longer – that just didn’t work for us, with kids, trying to record sporting events, etc.

This is a great camera. It is nice to have the option to record to a mini disc or directly to the hard drive. I feel this was worth every penny.

This camcorder is very easy to use and operate. Using the +RW dvd lets you go right to the
dvd player. Use of the memory sticks allows you to record long length of time. It has an easy button when you want it to be just simple, yet you can use it as a professional camcorder when needed.
