I am filming outdoor hunting with this camera along side the cannon hx-al with a hunting partner, this camera is a lot more portable and easyer to use, the only fall back to this compared to the hx-al is about 10 min. of filming light at the end of the hunt witch is passed shooting hours in missouri. I paid about 1500 less than the other guy for 10 min. of light. picture quality is great and it is easy to transfer to my computer to burn to cd.

I’ve had the camera for about a month now. Very pleased with the picture quality, the ease of use and durability. I guess time will tell if it was worth the money, but so far I’m happy.

This is a very easy to use and high end video camera from Sony. The 20x optical zoom is amazing and works great in the outdoors. This HDV is a very nice step up from my DCr-Vx2100 that I have been using for 4+ years. Just hope it can handle the outdoors… I am very happy.
